Derrick Trussell (CRD# 5197550) is a formerly registered securities broker. From 2006 to 2017, Mr. Trussell was employed at PFS Investments Inc. at a branch office in San Antonio, Texas.
In May of 2017, Mr. Trussell was terminated by his brokerage firm after he allegedly participated in private securities transactions without approval.
He was later barred from the industry after declining to cooperate with investigators. In recent months, four separate investor complaints have been filed against Mr. Trussell.
Barred Broker: Derrick Trussell, Previously of PFS Investments
Derrick Trussell was terminated by his member firm, PFS Investments, after allegations that he used client funds to purchase private placement securities that were not actually offered by the brokerage firm.
According to BrokerCheck, this was done with the knowledge or consent of his clients. Mr. Trussell was barred after he violated FINRA Rule 8210 by failing to cooperate with an official investigation into the allegations raised against him.
Four investors have now filed complaints against former PFS Investments broker Derrick Trussell. These claims allege that Mr. Trussell made material misrepresentations and unauthorized transactions in investing client money in securities not offered by his member firm. As of May of 2019, FINRA lists all four PFS Investments customer claims as ‘pending’.
