Broker Michael Fassi of Centaurus Financial Facing Unsuitable Investment Complaints

Since 2006, Mr. Fassi has been employed at Centaurus Financial in both Reno, Nevada and Fort Collins, Colorado.

In recent months, two customer complaints have been filed against this financial advisor.

In both cases, the investor alleged that the Centaurus Financial broker offered unsuitable investment guidance. Below, you will find more detailed information regarding these claims.

Investor Complaints: Broker Michael Fassi

In November of 2018, a Centaurus Financial client filed a FINRA arbitration claim alleging that Michael Fassi, among other things, made unsuitable investment recommendations in violation of securities industry regulations. The alleged misconduct in this case occurred around 2012. The investor is requesting $200,000 in compensatory damages.

In April of 2019, an investor filed a complaint against Mr. Fassi alleging that he suffered financial losses as a result of unsuitable investment advice offered by this broker. The alleged misconduct in question occurred in 2015.

The investor is seeking $11,000 in financial relief. Notably, Mr. Fassi submitted a complaint to FINRA stating that he denies this complaint in full and is planning to vigorously defend it in all future proceedings.
