Matthew Baltz (CRD#: 2635133) was employed by Cambridge Investment Research from 2014 until 2017. Previously, he was registered with Investors Capital Corporation from 2011 until 2014. Baltz has had three customer disputes filed against him since 2016.
- December 2018 – The customer alleged that Baltz misrepresented his variable annuity benefits. The customer is seeking $124,972.24 in damages. This matter is still pending.
- April 2018 – The customer alleged that Baltz misrepresented the Guaranteed Minimum Withdrawal Benefit on a Variable Annuity Contract. The matter was settled for approximately $100,000.
- October 2016 – The customer alleged that Baltz sold an unsuitable investment product. This claim was denied.
Baltz is not currently registered with any financial institutions according to his BrokerCheck report.
