Gregory Hunter Bang (CRD#: 6441836), a previously registered broker with NYLIFE Securities LLC, was barred from FINRA in March 2019 from acting as a broker.

Bang has 11 years of industry experience, all with NYLIFE Securities LLC.

His FINRA suspension was for failing to respond to FINRA’s request for information.

On 8/02/17, a customer complained about the suitability of two variable annuities purchased in 2016. NYLIFE settled the case by allowing the policyholder to surrender their policies without surrender charges.

The second dispute was filed on 4/28/15, in which the customer alleged that Bang misled her to think the product she had purchased in 4/14 was a variable annuity when it was not. She also alleged that surrender charges were not disclosed.

Bang was the subject of a third customer dispute filed 12/1/09 in which a customer accused Bang of presenting false information regarding his annuity and delaying his request to liquidate his annuity as requested. NYLIFE also denied this claim.
