Christopher Marnelego (CRD#: 4519174) is a previously registered securities broker. Most recently, Mr. Marnelego was employed at First Standard Financial Company in Staten Island, New York (2015 to 2016). Previously, he has also been associated with Merriman Capital (2013 to 2015), Meyers Associates (2012 to 2013), and Buckman, Buckman (2010 to 2012).

In March of 2019, Christopher Marnelego was barred from the securities industry by FINRA after he failed to respond to an official agency request for information. Notably, this broker has been the subject of multiple investor complaints in recent years.

In September of 2014, an investor filed a complaint alleging that Christopher Marnelego misrepresented the risks associated with an investment and made unsuitable investment recommendations. This claim was eventually settled for $37,500 in financial damages.

In July of 2017, an investor filed a complaint alleging that Mr. Marnelego made poor investment recommendations while he was employed as a securities representative at Buckman, Buckman. Eventually, this claim was settled for $85,000 in financial compensation.

There are also several judgements and tax liens listed on Mr. Marnelego’s BrokerCheck report. Since 2006, FINRA reports that nine separate judgements/liens have been entered against this broker.
